Position Summary

As a Med-Surg RN on night shift in Herrin, IL, you will provide patient-centered care in a collaborative setting, using clinical judgment and compassionate communication to support optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes
• Educate patients and their support systems on care plans
• Ensure accurate and complete medical documentation
• Maintain Core Measure compliance
• Contribute to a healthy, professional workplace culture
• Participate in continuing education and performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license (unencumbered)
• BLS/CPR certification (required)
• 1+ year of recent Med-Surg experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic clinical environment
