About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Torrance, California (ZIP 90505). This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced breast imaging services, including 3D mammography screening, in a respected medical facility while expanding your professional expertise.

Assignment Details

• Position / Specialty: Mammography Technologist
• Location: Torrance, CA 90505
• Start Date: December 30, 2025 (facility start date January 6, 2026)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour (08:00 – 17:00)
• Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: None
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Floating Requirement: No floating outside scope
• Block Scheduling: Not available
• Local Radius Rule: 50 miles
• RTO Restrictions: Maximum of 10 days

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D and 3D mammography screenings in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years of mammography experience in a hospital or imaging center setting.
• Certifications required:
  • California Mammography License
  • ARRT (M) – Mammography
  • ARRT (R) – Radiography
• Pending licenses not accepted.
• References required to submit.

Preferred Qualifications

• BLS certification
• Travel assignment experience in mammography or radiology departments
• Adaptability to diverse patient populations and clinical environments
