A tertiary care hospital in Rochester, New York is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role offers the opportunity to provide diagnostic imaging services in a large, 528-bed hospital while expanding your professional expertise.

• Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 15:30 – 00:00 (5x8-hour mid shifts)
• Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Weekend/On-Call Requirements: 1–2 weekend call shifts per month
• Flex Agency Requirement: Up to 3 times during contract length
• Locals Accepted: Must reside more than 75 miles from facility
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year of X-Ray Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center setting.
• Certifications required upon start:
  • ARRT (Radiography)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Pending licenses not accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

• Travel assignment experience in radiology or imaging departments.
• Adaptability to diverse patient populations and clinical environments.
