A respected medical facility in Newark, New York is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced imaging services in a supportive hospital environment while expanding your professional expertise.

Assignment Details

• Specialty: MRI Technologist
• Location: Newark, NY
• Start Date: January 5, 2026 (facility start date January 12, 2026)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (5x8-hour day shifts)
  • Wednesday shift: 07:30 – 16:00
  • Coverage: If 2nd shift tech is off, must cover 12:30 – 20:30 shift
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Weekends: None
• Holidays: None
• Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1–2 years of MRI experience in a hospital or imaging center setting.
• Certifications required upon start:
  • ARRT (R) – Radiography
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • State license (must be active upon start)
• Pending licenses not accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) – MRI certification
• Travel assignment experience in MRI or radiology departments
• Adaptability to diverse patient populations and clinical environments
