GERO-PSYCH RN – Night Shift (2 Openings) | Interview Required

Location: Akron Campus – Behavioral Health Pavilion (4th Floor), Akron, OH
Assignment: Jan 4, 2026 – Apr 4, 2026
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Openings: 2 | ASAP Start

Position Summary

Seeking Gero-Psych Registered Nurses to work in a Behavioral Health Pavilion caring for geriatric patients (60+ years) with dementia, depression, and suicidal ideation. Interviews are required.

Requirements

Active RN license (Nursys verified)
BLS required
CPI Blue Card (Crisis Prevention Institute) required at submission
Minimum 2+ years of RN experience
Epic experience within the last 1 year (must be listed on resume)
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Must be able to draw blood and manage IVs
Float required (within scope; may assist Med/Surg)

Unit Details

16 private rooms
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6–7
Night shift | On-call required
Burgundy or white scrubs

Important Notes

RTO due at submission – Max 7 days only (more than 7 days = auto-reject)
No block scheduling accepted
Interviews required – please include interview availability
