About the Role

A Short-Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center in Memphis, Tennessee is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced imaging and procedural support in a high-acuity trauma environment while expanding your professional expertise.

Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 15:30 (Day shifts)
• On-Call Requirement: Yes, typically 1 weekend per month
• Weekend Requirement: As needed
• Block Scheduling: Not available
• Radius Rule: 100 miles enforced (locals not accepted)
• Licensing: Must be in compliance with NLC guidelines; pending licenses not accepted
• RTO Restrictions: All requests must be submitted at time of application
• Special Requirement: Driver’s license must be included with submission

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures including vascular and non-vascular interventions.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic and procedural images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience in an acute care setting.
• First-time travelers not accepted unless possessing 3+ years of recent IR experience.
• Registered Technologist certification (ARRT preferred).
• Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to respond quickly in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel assignment experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Advanced certifications beyond required baseline.
• Adaptability to diverse patient populations and clinical environments.
