Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Licensed Radiologic Technologist with RCIS certification for a travel assignment in our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The technologist will serve as first assist to physicians during cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology, and interventional neurology procedures. Must be able to work independently and handle emergency on-call responsibilities.

Duties:

• Scrub and monitor cardiac catheterization, vascular, interventional radiology, and interventional neurology procedures
• Serve as first assist to physicians during all procedures
• Perform access site management and sheath removal
• Admit, recover, and discharge inpatients and outpatients
• Schedule patients for all procedures
• Take emergency and after-hours call (minimum 15 call shifts required)

Qualifications:

• Current New Jersey ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) license (priority given to NJ-licensed candidates)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
• Current BLS/ACLS certification
• Previous Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory experience required
• Experience in Interventional Radiology and Interventional Neurology
• Ability to work independently as first assist to physicians

Required Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS certification
