NO Holiday RTO will be approved
PLEASE NOTE - MANAGER PREFERS RNS who have IABP, Impella, CRRT Prismax, and EVD Drain Skills. CRRT is mandatory and at least one other skill.
Required:
- VA or compact license
- ACLS
- NIH
- 2 yrs experience
The SICU's population is more specialized, with trauma patients, CV surgery patients (such as TAVRs and CABGs directly from the OR), neurosurgery patients, and other complicated surgical patients.*
Special Requirements/Skills:
Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, blood product administration; Diagnoses include: acute ventilator need, COVID+ with high O2 demand, DKA, severe sepsis, unstable GI bleed, trauma cases, open heart recovery, TAVR recovery, s/p code blue, multi system organ failure, need for CRRT.

Start date: ASAP
Ratios: 1:2-3. If floating to step down it can be 1:3-4. (Ratios will be appropriate to skill level and acuity during required float)
First-timers accepted: Yes
Weekend REQ: Every other
Is on-call REQ? No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes
Open to accommodating block schedule? No
