Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel MedSurg/Tele Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in an acute care hospital. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a 40-bed unit while gaining valuable travel nursing experience.

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours:
  • 36 hours for 3x12-hour shifts
  • 48 hours for 4x12-hour shifts
  • 40 hours for 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
• Floating: Within scope, based on unit needs
• Block Scheduling: Not available
• Locals Accepted: Yes
• Pending License Accepted: No – must be valid at time of submission
• RTO Restrictions: Finalized RTO must be included with submission; no changes after signing

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a MedSurg/Tele unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in Cerner EMR
• Float to other units within scope as needed

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (required at submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of MedSurg/Tele experience (2 years preferred)
• First-time travelers considered with 2–3 years of experience and Epic or Cerner background
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
