Description

Position: PCU RN
Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Intermediate Care

Float: Yes, ICU or M/S
Shift: 3x12 Nights (19:00 - 07:00)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Local Candidates: Must reside 75+ miles from the facility
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
Patient Ratio: Must be comfortable with 1:5 to 1:7 (Med-Surg)

Required Certifications & Skills

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
EPIC Charting Experience – Required

Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response

Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Rapid Response & Code Team participation

IV Therapy / Phlebotomy

Peripheral IV line care and management

Respiratory Care

Nasal cannula
Oxygen face masks
Portable oxygen tanks
Non-invasive airway management (BIPAP)

Professional Skills

Isolation precautions
Strong multidisciplinary collaboration
