Description
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and lab values
- Monitor medical equipment and telemetry systems, interpreting data to guide treatment decisions
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood transfusions, and other treatments as prescribed
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheterization, and other bedside procedures
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, recovery plans, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, interventions, and clinical observations
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
Must have 1+ year of PCU/Step-down Experience
Must have BLS, ACLS - AHA
