🏥 Role and Unit Description

The Registered Nurse will work on the 3B TELE MED SURG unit, a critical area of the hospital providing specialized care.

Unit Details:

Capacity: 32 beds
Patient Population: Medical, Surgical, Telemetry, and Stroke patients.
Staffing: Composed of Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), and Nursing Assistants (NA).
Care Model: Utilizes team nursing at times, requiring strong collaboration and communication skills.

Core Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, direct patient care to patients with complex medical and post-surgical needs.
Perform continuous monitoring and interpretation of telemetry strips.
Manage the specific care requirements for stroke patients, adhering to established protocols.
Collaborate effectively with all members of the care team to ensure coordinated patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes.
