Description

Position Details:

Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Facility: MedStar Washington Hospital Center
Location: 110 Irving St NW, Washington, DC 20010
Start Date: January 20, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shifts: Day or Night 4x12s (block schedules available)
Weekend: Every other weekend; holidays as needed

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience (Adult ICU, ER, Trauma required)
DC RRT license (CRT or RRT accepted; RRT preferred)
BLS required (ACLS preferred)
Ventilator experience (Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I, Evita XL preferred)
Cerner charting experience preferred
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

This is a large teaching hospital with strong critical care exposure and accepts first-time travelers (screening required).
