Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby

📍 Location: Austell, Georgia 30106
⏳ Job Type: Part Time/ PRN
🕐 Shift: Day Shift

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Mother Baby unit in Austell, GA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality postpartum care to mothers and newborns while supporting families during the recovery and transition period.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns
  • Perform newborn assessments, vital signs, and screenings
  • Assist with breastfeeding education and maternal support
  • Monitor patient recovery following delivery
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Collaborate with physicians, lactation consultants, and care teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
  • Mother Baby / Postpartum experience preferred
  • Current BLS certification (NRP preferred)
  • Strong communication and patient-education skills
  • Compassionate, family-centered approach to care
