Must Haves

• ACLS – American Heart Association
• BLS Certification – American Heart Association
• FL Nursing License
• 2+ years’ experience Acute Bedside: ICU, IMC, Critical Care, PCU, Step Down, etc.//Wound care
• Experience with Traches (Tracheostomy)
• Experience with patient ratios of at least (4-5:1)
• Excellent patient care
• Be able to work on the Holidays
• Might have to float over to Rehab if needed (it is right down the hall)

Drips (Levophed, Precedex, Propofol, Vasopressors, Heparin)

Day to Day:

• Manage admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including labs and telemetry.
• Accurately transcribe and process medical orders.
• Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Provide instruction and counseling to patients and their families.
