ICU RN – 12-Hour Shifts | Cheshire Medical Center (Keene, NH)

Total Beds: 113-bed nonprofit community hospital
Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Float: May float to PCU
EMR: Epic
Local Rule: Perm address must be >50 miles (if applicable per client)
Vehicle: Personal vehicle required

Position Overview

Cheshire Medical Center is seeking an experienced ICU RN skilled in managing high-acuity adult patients. This role requires strong proficiency with ventilators, titratable drips, arterial lines, and hemodynamic monitoring. ICU nurses may occasionally float to PCU based on acuity and census needs.

This is a great match for a clinically strong ICU RN who is adaptable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a community hospital aligned with Dartmouth Health.

Required Experience

• 2+ years recent ICU experience (required)
• Epic experience (required)
• Arterial line competency (required)
• Proficient in:
  • IV drips & vasoactive medications
  • Ventilator management
  • Hemodynamic monitoring
• Charge or preceptor experience preferred
• Must have the ability to float to PCU
• Must have personal vehicle

Certifications Required

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS

Shift & Scheduling

• 12-hour shifts (schedule provided at interview)
• Block scheduling not permitted
• 48-hour guarantees not offered
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required if needed
• All RTO must be submitted at the time of profile (no exceptions)

Submission Requirements

• Updated work history showing required ICU skills
• Active NH or Compact RN license
• Certifications uploaded with profile
• Permanent address
• All RTO documented up front
