beds: 27 Medical Beds. 8 Bed MIU (medical intermediate unit) total 35 beds Avg census 25-30
Relias exams required to pass upon booking- 2 attempts. If the second attempt is failed, this will result in a pre-start cancellation. Charge Nurse 1:2 RN/LPN ratio 1:5 with flex to 6 and 1:4 max on intermediate beds CNA ratio 1:7-9 Flexible scheduling options with self-scheduling based on unit needs and manager needs Chest pain R/O MI, CHF, PE, GI BLEED, COPD, RESP FAILURE , DM, ARF/CRF Chest tube insertion, Central line insertion, HD tunneled catheter insertion, Thoracentesis , Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: MI, CVA, HTN, CHF, Peritoneal Dialysis, Diabetes What areas require floating? ED, Med Surg, ICU Titrate Vascoactive Drips? Yes, Nitro, Cardene,Cardizem Dress Code: black scrubs, white scrubs, or combination of both
