🕐 Shift: Day/ Night Shift
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiovascular Surgery team in Marietta, GA. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients throughout the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients
- Monitor patient status, hemodynamics, and recovery progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and discharge plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
- Cardiovascular, ICU, or Surgical experience preferred
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
