Description
Required Qualifications
- Prior travel experience is required
- Minimum 1 year of similar paramedic experience within the last 2 years
- Current Virginia Paramedic Certification required
- If no VA certification: Approved VA EMT reciprocity and proof of FBI fingerprint check required
- National certification required for out-of-state applicants
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) required
- FEMA ICS certifications: 100, 200, and 700 required
Preferred Qualifications
- Hazmat Awareness certification (preferred, not required)
