Required Certifications & Competencies

Candidates must maintain current, valid certifications throughout employment:

Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – required within 1 year of hire
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) – required within 1 year of hire
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) – required within 1 year of hire
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – must be completed within 6 months of hire
Emergency Severity Index (ESI) Level 5 – required within 3 months of hire
Patient Sitter Competency Training – required upon hire

Qualifications & Skills

Active RN license in good standing
Strong critical-thinking, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Flexibility to work multiple shifts and weekends as required
