Registered Nurse – Cath Lab (Travel Assignment)

Brownwood, TX

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This role requires strong procedural and critical care skills, with proficiency in MedHost and GE MacLab systems. Candidates must be flexible with shift end times and prepared to take call as scheduled.

Key Details

Shift: Day, 4x10-hour (06:00 – 16:30; end of shift may vary by ~1 hour)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: January 19, 2026 (January start preferred)
On-Call Requirement: Yes
Travel Experience: Strongly preferred
Location Rule: Must live more than 150 miles from facility OR reside in a metropolitan area

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab RN experience
Active Texas RN license or compact license
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Experience with MedHost and GE MacLab systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-acuity settings

Responsibilities

Provide safe and effective nursing care during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, ensuring optimal outcomes
Administer medications and manage patient recovery in accordance with protocols
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams during procedures
Participate in on-call rotation for emergent cases

Preferred Qualifications

Prior travel nursing experience
Strong background in critical care and procedural nursing
Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
