Travel Operating Room RN – 660A Surgery

Hospital Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 

Unit: 660A Surgery – Ground Floor 

Position Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks) 

Schedule: 12-hour Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team on a 13-week travel assignment. This position requires expertise across a wide range of surgical specialties and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced OR environment.

Unit Overview

• Specialty: Operating Room – Ground Floor Surgery
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (January 19, 2026 – April 18, 2026)
• Holiday Requirements: Must work 1 major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)
• Local Radius Rule: No local candidates within 50 miles

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across diverse surgical specialties.
• Support procedures including robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, gynecology, and general surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and documentation requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in multiple surgical specialties including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gyn.
• Flexibility to meet holiday scheduling expectations.
