A hospital in Winfield, Kansas is seeking an experienced Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13‑week assignment. This role is ideal for an L&D RN who thrives in a collaborative environment and is confident managing laboring patients, postpartum care, and newborn stabilization during night shifts.

Position Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 3×12
• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Start Date: December 29 or January 5
• Weekly Gross Pay: $2200–$2362, depending on experience and facility needs

Required Certifications & Experience

• Active BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• Fetal Monitoring certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work independently on nights
• Proficiency with electronic charting systems

Typical Labor & Delivery RN Duties

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs
• Assist with labor support, epidurals, inductions, and high‑risk deliveries
• Circulate and assist providers during vaginal deliveries
• Stabilize newborns and support immediate postpartum care
• Administer medications and manage IVs per provider orders
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum expectations
• Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesia, pediatrics, and support staff
