Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate patient care across various healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nursing principles, with experience in diverse clinical environments including acute, long-term, and community care. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in supporting patient health through direct care, assessments, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Your expertise will contribute to delivering safe, efficient, and personalized healthcare services.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current certification.
- Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as nursing homes, hospice care, or outpatient clinics.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Experience administering injections, IV insertion/infusion, tube feeding, and catheter care essential for comprehensive patient support.
- Familiarity with emergency medicine procedures including airway management and acute pain management protocols.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs in settings such as long-term care or home & community care environments.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to perform physical examinations and patient assessments accurately.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques necessary for safe clinical practice.
- Additional preferred skills include experience in geriatrics, pediatric care (including neonatal ventilator management), medical imaging assistance, behavioral health support, and case management responsibilities.
