Med/Surg RN – Adult & Pediatric | Nights (7p–7:30a)

Concord Hospital – Concord, NH

Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
Total Beds: ~295-bed acute care hospital
EMR: Cerner (preferred, not required)
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.)
Schedule: Holiday coverage required
Local Candidates: Accepted (≤50 miles)
Floating: Possible (see details below)

Position Overview

Concord Hospital is seeking a flexible Med/Surg RN to support a mixed adult and pediatric medical-surgical unit. The unit may also include post-partum couplets and requires comfort caring for both pediatric and adult patients.

This is a small, collaborative team, and flexibility is essential. Some weeks may be all pediatrics, while others may be all adults.

First-time travelers are welcome.

Patient Population

  • Adult Med/Surg
  • General Pediatrics
  • Occasional Post-Partum Couplets
  • May float to assist OB as needed

Experience Requirements

  • 1–2 years Adult Med/Surg RN experience
  • 1–2 years General Pediatric RN experience
  • ER RNs will be considered if experienced with both adults and pediatrics and understand this is a Med/Surg-level unit
  • Flexible, team-oriented mindset required

Certifications Required

  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • Active NH or Compact RN License

Preferred:

  • ENPC

Floating Expectations

  • May float to:
    • OB unit (to assist as needed)
    • Concord Hospital – Laconia
    • Concord Hospital – Franklin

Scheduling & Notes

  • Holiday availability required
  • Block scheduling not guaranteed (requests must be noted at submission)
  • RTO must be submitted upfront
  • Team is small—flexibility is critical
