Position: Surgical Technologist 
Type of position: Per diem position 
Location : Queen Creek, AZ
Shift: 8 hours Days (7am - 3:30pm )
Hourly pay rate:$40 - $42 per hour
 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are properly sterilized and organized.
• Maintain strict sterile technique and uphold infection-control standards during all procedures.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies while anticipating their needs throughout the surgery.
• Perform accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps with circulating staff to prevent retained items.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping before surgical procedures.
• Handle, label, and transport surgical specimens safely for laboratory processing.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and equipment after procedures to prepare for upcoming cases.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to support safe, efficient surgical workflow.
