Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) for a fast-paced, team-oriented emergency department. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a dynamic environment with rapid patient turnover and a strong interdisciplinary team approach.

Unit Details

• 28-bed Emergency Department
• Includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac-monitored rooms
• High-acuity, fast-paced setting

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Perform rapid assessments and prioritize care in urgent and emergent situations
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced providers, and multidisciplinary team members
• Accurately document patient care using the designated EMR system
• Participate in holiday coverage and follow departmental scheduling requirements

Requirements

• Active Hawaii RN license required by the start of the assignment
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-acuity environment

• Candidates must arrive prior to the assignment start for employee health clearance and onboarding
