Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) for a fast-paced emergency department. This role involves delivering high-quality emergency care in a dynamic environment with rapid patient turnover, strong teamwork, and a focus on patient safety.

Unit Details

• 28-bed Emergency Department
• 4 trauma bays
• 2 behavioral health rooms
• 22 cardiac-monitored rooms

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care in emergent situations
• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency nursing care
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Accurately document patient care using the designated EMR system
• Participate in required holiday coverage

Requirements

• Active Hawaii RN license required by the start of the assignment
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, high-volume environment

Preferred Certifications (not required)

• Procedural Sedation
• TMCC
• EMPC

Additional Information

• Candidates must arrive prior to the assignment start for employee health clearance and onboarding
• Holiday coverage is required
• EMR system used: EPIC
