Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU (ICU Overflow)

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 4x10s, Monday–Friday
Weekend / Call / Holiday Requirements: None
First-Time Travelers Accepted: Yes

IMPORTANT HARDSTOP – PLEASE READ

This position functions as ICU overflow in PACU holding.
Candidates MUST have Level 1 ICU experience.

Required: Minimum 2 years Level 1 Trauma ICU experience
Preferred: PACU experience in addition to ICU
Not Accepted: PACU-only experience without ICU
Screening Note: Candidates with 1+ year ICU or ED experience at a Level 1 or Level 2 facility

Required Experience

2–3 years Level 1 Trauma ICU experience (required)
PACU experience strongly preferred
Critical care experience managing high-acuity post-op patients

Required Skills

Phase I PACU care
Dysrhythmia recognition and management
Blood product administration
Care of ventilated patients
IV vasopressors
ICP monitoring
Invasive hemodynamic monitoring
Phlebotomy
Starting IVs
General inpatient critical care skills

Certifications

Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
Preferred:
- CCRN
- TNCC
