Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment at a reputable healthcare facility. This is an excellent opportunity to explore new locations while advancing your career in diagnostic imaging.

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 01/05/2026
Shift: 12-2230 Mon-Thur 40 hr/Call Requirement: 1 night/week
Hours: 40 hours/week
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Weekly Pay: $2,606.00 Travel/ Local rate-$60.00 an hour

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations (e.g., abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, or cardiac as applicable)
Accurately record images and preliminary findings for physician review
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality
Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to infection control standards
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members

Requirements

ARDMS certification (required)
Active state license (if applicable)
Minimum 1–2 years of recent ultrasound experience
BLS certification
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
