Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

Unit: 21 James – MS/Tele (Mixed Acuity: PCU & Med-Surg)
Assignment Length: 13–16 weeks
Shift: Rotating Days/Nights (12-hour shifts)
Schedule Details:

• No set schedule, weekends, or block scheduling
• Facility determines full schedule based on staffing needs
• May be scheduled for days, nights, or both
• Shift patterns reviewed every 4 weeks (changes not guaranteed)
• Flexibility required (possible to work every weekend)
• Self-schedule requests allowed prior to final schedule posting

Orientation:

• Week 1: Monday–Friday, Dayshift (general orientation)
• Week 2: 36 hours of on-unit orientation with a preceptor
  Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• EPIC experience required
• BCLS required
• Skills: IV starts, telemetry, tracheostomy management
• Must float within units of equal or lower acuity
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Notes:
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
