Description
MRI Tech | Akron, OH | Days
The MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality MR scans while ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient records. This role includes safely positioning and assisting patients, operating and calibrating MRI equipment, and performing additional imaging or radiology-related procedures as training and competency allow.
Requirements: Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program and completion of an approved MRI Technology program or ARRT MRI registration. One year of MRI Technologist experience preferred. Post-primary candidates with ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS certification must be eligible to obtain MRI registry certification within one year of hire. CPR certification required. Must be able to safely lift and position patients, operate imaging equipment, and utilize computer systems while providing patient care with professionalism, respect, and clear communication.
40 hours per week | 4x10s | 6:00am - 4:30pm
