DESCRIPTION:

Registered Nurse – Detox
Location: Meriden, CT 06450
Shift: Nights, Sunday–Thursday

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute care setting.
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately in EPIC.
Administer medications and treatments safely according to protocols.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans.
Respond to emergencies and implement interventions as needed.
Provide patient and family education regarding health, treatment plans, and recovery.
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

Qualifications:

Required: Active RN license in CT
Required: BLS (AHA) certification
Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience
Preferred: Experience in behavioral health or addiction medicine
Highly Preferred: EPIC electronic health record experience
