  • Location: Klamath Falls, OR, 97601
  • Start date: 01/12/2025

Travel Pay Rate: (above 50 miles)

  • Hourly:$25/hr W2 + $900/week (non - taxable stipend)
  • Gross:$1,800/weekly

Position Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Med/Surg provides direct patient care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and post-surgical conditions. This role supports RNs and physicians by delivering routine nursing care, monitoring patient status, administering medications, and ensuring safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications, IV therapy (as permitted), and prescribed treatments per orders.
  • Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and report changes in condition to the RN/physician.
  • Provide wound care, catheter care, and post-operative support.
  • Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Document patient care accurately in the EMR and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and discharge instructions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active LPN license of OR.
  • ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE (required)
  • BLS
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience.
  • EPIC experience.
