Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient Orthopedic:
 

Hartford Rehab Network is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at the HOCC Plainville clinic. This is a 13-week contract position focused on providing high-quality care within an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Position Overview:

• Location: Plainville, CT 06062
• Contract Duration: 12 Weeks (01/12/2026 – 04/11/2026)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)
• Shift Details: 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
  • Note: Candidates must be able to work until 7:00 PM at least two evenings per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for a diverse outpatient orthopedic patient population.
• Provide evidence-based manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC EMR system.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensure: Active Connecticut (CT) Physical Therapist license.
• Certification: Current BLS certification.
• Professionalism: Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to rehabilitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Clinical Specialty: Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly preferred.
• Technology: Proficiency with EPIC EMR software.
