Travel LDRP Registered Nurse- California

We’re seeking an experienced Obstetrics Registered Nurse (OB RN) for a 13-week contract in a hospital setting. This opportunity is open to both local and travel RNs. The ideal candidate has strong OB experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to support patients throughout antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.

Local or Travel – 13-Week Hospital Contract

Location: South Lake Tahoe, CA
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Nights – 3X12-hour shifts-36 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay: 22.50/hour ($945 week)

Tax Free: $2212.00/ week

Travel-$3157.00/ week

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to OB patients in antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vitals, and labor progress
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and high-risk OB situations
• Perform OB triage and respond to emergent situations as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process
• Maintain accurate and timely charting in the EMR
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and OB protocols

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent OB or L&D experience
• Current BLS and NRP
• ACLS
• AWHONN certification preferred
• Strong OB assessment skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
