Description

Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Rehab

Houston, TX
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | Mon–Fri | 35 hrs/week
Schedule: Flexible 8-hr days (start between 6:00 AM–10:00 AM, must be consistent)

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop and adjust plans of care using evidence-based practice
Document patient progress, treatment minutes, and discharge summaries in EMR
Educate patients, families, and caregivers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Supervise CFY or student SLPs as assigned
Comply with ASHA, state, and regulatory standards

Requirements

1+ year SLP experience (New grads accepted with Level II clinical experience)
LTC or Rehab experience – required
Active Texas SLP License – required
CCC-SLP – required
Compact license accepted
One (1) professional reference required
