Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Skilled Nursing units. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring safety, compliance, and adherence to established nursing standards. Opportunities are available to pick up additional hours.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide quality patient care by performing treatments and procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Administer medications as permitted by facility policy, licensure requirements, and the Illinois State Nurse Practice Act.
• Monitor patients closely and promptly report adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Respond safely and promptly to patient requests and communicate significant clinical observations to the RN as required.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of each patient’s plan of care and deliver care safely within established guidelines.
• Participate in care planning by providing input and assisting with implementation of patient care plans under RN direction.
• Identify emergency situations, initiate appropriate nursing interventions within scope of practice, and seek assistance as needed.
• Educate patients on self-care according to the established teaching plan and RN direction.
• Accurately document patient care, education, and clinical observations.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Active Illinois RN License
• CPR (BLS) Certification
• Prior experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
