Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location
Atlanta, GA
Schedule / Job Type
12-hour night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room environment.
- Assist during various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
- Prepare the operating room and equipment for surgical cases.
- Monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures and respond to any emergencies.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room or specialized surgical nursing.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification.
- Experience with a variety of surgical cases including robotics, neuro, orthopedic, plastics, and gynecological procedures.
- Knowledge of advanced surgical techniques and equipment.
