Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Float RN for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate is flexible, highly skilled in both Med/Surg and Telemetry care, and comfortable floating between units in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care across Med/Surg and Telemetry units as assigned
Perform comprehensive assessments and continuous cardiac monitoring
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per protocol
Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Accurately document patient care and clinical findings
Adapt quickly to unit workflows, policies, and staffing needs

Requirements

Active RN license (state-specific)
2+ years of recent Med/Surg and Telemetry experience
Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
Ability to float between units as needed
BLS (AHA) required
ACLS (AHA) preferred (or required, if applicable)

EMR: Epic Shift:3x12's/Nights/36 hours per week
