RN-TELEMETRY

DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry
Location: Norwich, CT 06360
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12s
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients in accordance with facility policies
Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
Maintain patient safety and infection control standards

Requirements

Active RN license (CT state)
Minimum 1–2 years of recent Telemetry experience
BLS required; ACLS preferred
Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours)
Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
