Unit Details

Beds: 24-bed Step-Down Care Unit (SCU)
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3–4

Patient Population

Patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and medical-surgical units
Common patient cases include:
- Post-cardiac procedures
- Stable ventilator weaning
- Continuous telemetry monitoring
