Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Employee Health - LOCALS ONLY

Location: Hartford, CT (Multiple locations available based on candidate home address)

Contract Duration: 8 Weeks (Expected 12/29/2025 – 02/28/2026)

Shift: Days | Monday – Friday (5 x 8s) | 40 Hours/Week

Setting: Administrative / Office-Based (Non-Bedside)

Position Overview:

Hartford Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Registered Nurse for a specialized, administrative role within our Colleague Health Services department. Unlike traditional bedside nursing, this position focuses on ensuring our healthcare workforce meets all necessary job and employer regulatory requirements.

This is a local contract position designed for candidates who excel in organizational tasks and computer-based workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and track HHC employee compliance regarding job and regulatory health requirements.
Perform administrative nursing duties in an office-based setting.
Utilize specialized Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate employee health documentation (Note: This role does not use Epic; training will be provided for the specific EHR).
Collaborate with the Colleague Health team to support the wellness and onboarding of hospital staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Licensure: Active Connecticut (CT) RN License.
Experience: 1–3 years of nursing experience.
Education: BSN is preferred, but not required.
Technical Skills: Must possess excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems quickly.
Local Status: This position is for local candidates only.
Employment Type: Contract only

Shift: AM Shift, 08:00 AM start (approximate).
Hours: 40 hours per week; no on-call requirements.
Meal Break: 30 minutes.
Flexible Placement: While the primary order is for Hartford, placement may be determined by the location closest to the candidate's home. Potential sites include:

- Backus Hospital (Norwich, CT)
