Description
Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile Wausau.
Neuro ICU RN
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 2/2/26
• Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 48. OT after 48 hrs worked
• Shift Requirements : 12 hr Days 7a-730p
• Float Requirements: will float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units- possible float to other critical care units and other inpatient units as needed.
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend Every other holiday
• Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS and NIHSS all required.
• Minimum Experience: 2 years minimal with 1 travel assignment preferred : Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong assessment skills in Neuro REQUIRED
• Charting Experience: EPIC REQUIRED
• Unit Information: 8 bed Neuro unit with Neuro population from our Med/Surg ICU, this would include Stroke, TBI, Head injury, and Neurosurgery patients. Experience as Neuro Interventionalist a plus . Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring would be needed.
• Primary case/Procedure Type: : Main procedures would be Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures (i.e. line placement, intubation). Neuro specific would include bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery and in future state caring for Neuro interventional patients
• Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely
