Travel Pay (away 50 miles):
Hourly: $30/hr (W2) + $1,540 (Non Taxable Stipend)
Gross: $2,620/weekly

Job description:
The PACU Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures. The RN PACU monitors patients’ physiological status, manages pain and complications, and ensures safe transition through the post-anesthesia phase in collaboration with anesthesiology, surgeons, and the interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients recovering from general, regional, or local anesthesia
Perform comprehensive post-anesthesia assessments, including airway, breathing, circulation, neurological status, and pain
Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed
Manage post-operative pain, nausea, and potential complications

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license of NY
2+ years of OB/L&D or LDRP experience required
BLS required
