Role Overview

Responsible for directing hospital operations during assigned hours, including oversight of inpatient units as well as all ancillary and support departments. Serves as a clinical and operational leader, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care while supporting staff and managing real-time operational challenges.

• Direct daily hospital operations across inpatient, ancillary, and support departments.
• Serve as a role model for clinical excellence and sound clinical judgment.
• Make prompt, high-quality decisions in fast-paced clinical environments.
• Support staff through change with demonstrated energy and engagement.
• Apply policies and contractual requirements fairly and consistently.
• Manage multiple high-intensity situations calmly and effectively.
• Demonstrate dependability, strong work ethic, and leadership that motivates others.

Submission Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of successful leadership experience (strongly preferred).
• Experience with conflict resolution (preferred).
• Demonstrated working knowledge of acute care medical center operations, including emergency/trauma and critical care.
• Working knowledge of staffing systems (preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – required.
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Documented evidence of continuing education and professional growth.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle.
• Traveler’s permanent address must be included in the profile.
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront.

• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years.
