Description

Charge Registered Nurse (RN) – General Surgery ASC

Full-Time | Day Shift

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee daily clinical operations within an ambulatory surgery center
Coordinate patient flow, staffing assignments, and unit workflow
Provide direct patient care as needed and support perioperative nursing activities
Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff and surgical teams
Ensure compliance with patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Support staff development, coaching, and performance improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation and promote efficient use of resources

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

Active RN license (State or Compact)
Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
Recent acute care, perioperative, surgical, or ASC nursing experience
Prior charge nurse or leadership experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and organizational skills
BLS required; ACLS preferred or as required by the role
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
Ability to work full-time day shifts in a fast-paced surgical environment
