Radiology Technologist – 13-Week Contract

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Shift: 3×12-hour shifts
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Pay

• Local Rate: $54–$57 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist for a 13-week local contract assignment. This role performs a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures and serves as a key point of contact for patients and clinical teams while supporting department operations and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including Radiographic (X-ray), CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and/or Special Procedures according to department protocols
• Serve as the first-line interface with patients to ensure high-quality imaging services
• Process and transmit images to PACS
• Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities
• Assist in maintaining the department’s Performance Improvement Program
• Oversee radiology areas and/or staff in the absence of the Manager or Director
• Maintain departmental and sub-department supplies and equipment
• Assist with scheduling for assigned sub-departments
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and excellent customer service
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Education, Experience & Training Requirements

• Active state licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required
• National certifications in two imaging modalities required (effective July 1, 2017)
• BCLS (AHA) required
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program
• 1 year of acute clinical radiography experience preferred
