Description
must have experience in Level I or Level II Trauma center and have worked in hospitals with 300+ beds Unit "ICU- 2nd floor MICU some SICU" # Beds: 16 Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1 to 2 Required Certifications: ACLS BLS NIHSS Common diagnoses/Types of patients: CRRT (prismaflex) rotaprone, TTM- Arctic Sun, mass transfusions, train of 4, frequently paralyze, Ecmo at times, 24 hour EEG monitoring, EVD, LP drain, Neuro surgery,MTP, traumas (drownings, tractor rollover, fractures, MVA), spinal injuries, sepsis, DKA, recover surgeries, COVID, Post heart cath- sometimes will pull sheaths, SI. Bedside procedures, trachs, CT insertion, bronchs, art line insertion, organ recovery (procurement only. no transplants done here) Experience or 'Must have' skills: Prefer experience pulling sheaths, CRRT highly preferred. Level 2 trauma experience or above. Are RNs required to titrate drips?: yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Precedex, pressors, anti arrhythmics, sedation, common ICU drips.
