Description

Must understand Team Nursing is used on the tele floors (teams consist of an RN, LPN, and a PCT. Ratios will be 10 patients to a team, with LPNs having responsibility of 5 most stable patients minus what is out of their scope (initial assessments and IV pushes) There will also always be a charge nurse available to jump in and help the teams as needed).

2West is a regular TELE unit, 29 beds. 3 Main is a Post-Op unit (tele type patients coming out of PACU), 20 beds.
EMR: Cerner
RN/LPNs are expected to work 3 shifts/week, every other weekend. Weekends consist of Saturday or Sunday shifts, NOT Friday or Monday.
RNs/LPNs may be expected to take verbal, phone orders from the physicians or hospitalists as needed (which is reviewed in depth on the interviews).
No scheduling restrictions (i.e. block schedule) are able to be approved
